T6 7075 aluminum is the lightest aluminum alloy for a stem application. We have included Titanium hardware for both the carbon faceplate and the steer clamp, just to ensure we produced the lightest stem on the market. Titanium bolts not only save weight, they also inhibit rust and corrosion.
The Xlite Titanium stem is available in a variety of lengths, and can be installed at either a positive or negative 5° rise. Anodized, laser etched, and crafted from our passion for the modern bicycle- this stem is at Road Bike light, but Mountain bike bred!

Ellsworth spent three years qualifying his Carbon Fiber manufacturing facility, material and technique. Our carbon material is certified and tracked from material acquisition to lay up in the frames, preventing any substitution in material utilization. Our Lay Up technicians are trained, and experienced professionals, working in a clean, healthy and organized environment, capable of reading and understanding the lay up specifications of our monocoque frame designs. Our modern manufacturing facility exercises social responsibility, modern high tech void extraction and heat equipment, and properly controls the dissipation of carbon dust and scrap in the finishing process. Carbon dust and scraps are initially minimized by accurate lay up techniques in the mold.

We designed this stem with one goal in mind... to manufacture the Lightest Mountain Bike Stem in the Industry. We started with a block of T6 7075 alloy, which was forged and then machined to create this masterpiece for 2012 - the Xlite Titanium Stem is Road Bike light, but Mountain Bike strong!
